My uncle died recently. I was his favorite nephew. As he didn’t get married ever, he never got the chance to have children. So I was more like a son to him. That’s why he left his fortune to me when he passed away. To tell you the truth I didn’t know what to do with it. It was not so big of a fortune actually, it was just a lot of money. So the best option was to invest it in a way that will allow me to reinvest the profit. That’s what an investment is about after all.. So I consulted the lawyer of my uncle, who also was responsible for his will, who introduced me to one of his financial advisors. This guy knew what he was talking about. He suggested me to start an online shop. I had the money now to do it.

HALLOWEEN LIGHTING
A famous haunted house in the place was about to be demolished. A year ago, it was declared a condemned house because of the deteriorating structure. But the owner protested and filed a case against the city government. A temporary restraining order was released in favor of the house owner. Stories in the past circulated. There were reports that there are plenty of ghosts in the house. A passer-by said that the lighting of the house keeps on changing. One night, he saw an orange light. The other night, he noticed a green light. Another resident said that the second floor lights are changing every hour in a span of five hours. They believed that the house is bringing a bad reputation to the area. They checked if there were people inside the house. They didn’t find anyone. The owner lives in the other city where his business is currently prospering. They were wondering who was putting on the lights. One night, a group of six brave young men decided to have an adventure inside the haunted house. At exactly 12:00 midnight, they entered the house one by one. They went to the different rooms of the house individually. That night, the lights were not on. The young men had to depend on their flashlights for their crazy adventure. One said that of all nights, why is it that the lights of the house were off. Suddenly, one of them screamed. They all ran to help their friend. He was sitting on the floor of the bathroom. The orange bathroom lighting was on which blinded them. All of them saw a woman wearing an orange dress. A few minutes later, the color of the gown became green. After seeing the woman, they all ran out of the house. They were panting when they reached a church. All of them said that there is no light in that haunted house. It’s the light of the old woman’s clothes that brightens the haunted house. When the owner found out what the young men did, he decided to have the house demolished. He said that once someone dares to enter his house, he’ll have it demolished for it is a disrespect to her mother who died thirty years ago.

HOW TO BRIGHTEN A ROOM
I am not as moneyed as I would like to be. But I sure have style. Genuine style does not have to be expensive. It has to have a vision only if it really wants itself to be genuinely stylish. As I have said, I have not have much to spend for expensive items, especially for my home décor. I just can’t see myself spending tons of money just to be able to make the rooms of my house look stylish enough to satisfy my taste. It can be frustrating making sure my place looks stylish with a limited – or very limited – budget. But it is not impossible. I was patient enough to look for the perfect home accessories to brighten up all rooms in my house.
I transferred in this house 3 months ago. What took me so long to finally complete the look of the place was my limited budget. Slowly, however, I am starting to add all the necessary design components of the house to make it the stylish one I have been dreaming about. For the Rugs, I wanted to have a cream-colored rug to suit the earthy tone of the house. I did not want the rugs to darken what appears to be a very warm color of the whole place. The cream color would balance the place and would make it more “breathable.” The search for that ideal rug was far from being easy. It required me, above all, patience since rugs of great quality do not come cheap these days. Either they are expensive or insanely expensive. Much to my surprise, I was able to find the perfect Cheap Rugs. They are great Area Rugs which matched my specifications. It was a good surprise, I am really happy with the look and quality of the rugs.

CUSTOM SIGNS – CREATE A SIGN
Creativity is one of the core values in our institution. Being in the academe where forming the heart and mind of the young is the primary goal, it is important they are given the chance to express themselves in an atmosphere of love and understanding. Part of my work is to animate different clubs and youth groups. One thing I asked them to do during the start of the school year is to create their group logo and signs. Their custom made signs should represent the nature and objective of the group. Students became so proud of what they have done; it gave them a sense of belonging and identity of the group. In fact, instead of calling it group logo they name it as family signs since they represent their group which is already an extension of their family. They find the activity really meaningful, that they decided to extend it to the school by coming up with personalized signs that could be placed all over the campus; signs for directions, office signs and even inspirational ones. The school administration was appreciative of what the students have done, because aside from the fact that it became an avenue for them to enhance their creativity; they have used it for a good cause of helping the school. This strengthened my belief that there is really a stream of potentials hidden in every person, especially in the young. All we need to give is an opportunity for them to bring it out and nurture it.

HELPFUL BABY GIFTS
The baptism of my niece is a few days away. I want to give her a gift that she and her parents can appreciate and be useful to them at the same time. So I tried to make a list of Baby Gifts that I can possible give to be able to come up with the best one possible.
First on my list are toys. Considering the fact that she is only a month old, I think it would be too early to buy her a toy and that it would take a few more months before she can play with it. So I then went on with the list. Next are baby clothes. I have not seen her since she was born, and from what I have heard she keeps on getting bigger and bigger. I am quite hesitant on what size of clothing I will buy because if I buy something that is too small, it will no longer be worn of I buy something in the right size, my niece will only use it for a short time since she is growing fast. I also listed down baby crib, strollers and high chair, but I suddenly found out that I am a little short on budget. So I just made a basket with diapers and formula milk that is good for a month. When I gave it to her parents, they really appreciated it. They can surely use it and it will also help them save some of their budget as well.

PETOSKEY WEDDING TAKES A FULL BLAST IN CHARLEVOIX CASTLE FARMS
I have only been to Petoskey on important occasions that my fiancé would go visit his parents. The serene atmosphere was great, and when I had to say my piece of mind on how beautiful the place was, his mother openly commented, ‘it is just the best place to hold your wedding’. I was taken aback with such utter welcome to their family.
Not long after that last visit did my husband and I finally decide to make ours count as a Petoskey wedding. But no matter how quiet that place is, my wedding is just going to be the best of understated elegance.
